Sarah & Alex's Vintage-Inspired Summer Wedding | Greenville, SC

This couple is seriously cute. But don't take our word for it, see for yourself. Prepare your Pinterest for purple hues, vintage decor, and major wanderlust vibes.

Greenville Summer Garden Wedding

Okay, see? I promise it only gets better. Not only are Sarah & Alex super photogenic, they also are super in love. In our experience, love always produces the most beautiful, unstaged moments- and their gorgeous and unique garden-style wedding proves this true.

Because I can't resist, here's a peek at this gorgeous couple!

Their wedding and reception took place at their home church in Greenville, SC. They opted for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, so the inside sanctuary was left as a 'plan B' option in case of rain. Because of the sentimental value behind their venue, we opted to get some of their accessories inside the church.

The getting ready photos are always so much fun. The anticipation is high, the details are all coming together and everyone is looking oh so good. Also, the best man played piano so THAT was cool.

It's a well-known fact that typically it takes the girls a little bit longer to get ready then the guys, so the boys came prepared. Complete with cigars, the men stepped outside to take a breather before the events started happening.

Despite the fun, it's no secret that our favorite time of the wedding day is when we can pull the bride and groom aside for some sweet photos of just the two of them. Alex & Sarah opted to do a 'first look' and see each other privately before the ceremony. Not only was this sweet time emotional, but so much fun. They made our job so easy!

One fun thing about this wedding party was that Alex & Sarah were the first out of the group to get married, which meant the jokes were a little bit louder, the content a bit racier, and the smiles a little easier to pull out! One of the coolest things to witness, though, was how the bridesmaids and groomsmen both pulled together to make this wedding a success. There wasn't a official planner present, but the way the wedding party put their heart and soul into running the show you never would have guessed it!

Finally, the ceremony! Since Alex & Sarah saw each other before the 'I Do's', he spent the few minutes before walking down the aisle to massage her back gently- which I love! Also, here's a bit of decor so you can see the little bit of vintage charm and wanderlust vibes they created throughout their day.

It was easy to see where Alex & Sarah get their joyful personalities from! We loved the sense of unity both families radiated on the wedding day, and how thoughtful and genuine they were as a whole.

Then, the reception! A true celebration of the unity of Sarah and Alex. Filled with sincere toasts, crazy dancing, and lots of conversation this reception certainly had variety! We never say this, but the church's fellowship hall had the best lighting so win/win for us as well!

Sometimes, receptions empty out a little earlier then expected. To make the most of their time with us, Sarah wanted to do some really fun sparkler shots with the wedding party. What followed was about 40 minutes of laughter, lots and lots of awful jokes, and even better sweet memories with their favorite people.

We can't say enough good about this amazing couple! We are so honored they chose us to be a part of their special day, and truly had a great time the entire day with them. Best wishes!
